Hello! I’m concerned about my pitcher plant. It stopped putting out pitchers a few months ago and just has those small ones. I repotted it yesterday and thought maybe it wasn’t getting enough sunlight although i do have a grow light above where it is, so i put it on my window sill and I came back home to its leaves like this! :( Is it sun burnt? or reacting to being repotted?
The first thing with it stopping the production of pitchers, is could be because of a drop in humidity. Nepenthes produce less pitchers if your humidity is too low so that’s probably what that is. Secondly, from my experience nepenthes can get blacked leaves a bit when you transplant them, it’ll recover from it. I would just try to increase the plants humidity!

It definitely either too cold, not getting enough light, or drying out or being waterlogged. It looks like it’s a ventrata and it seems to be in the right substrate, are you keeping it in good light for 10hrs at least? What’s your humidity and temp like?
0 gillningarI agree with what others are saying. Also, it’s hard to tell from the photo, but do you have your pot in a tray of water? Unlike most other carnivorous plants, Nepenthes don’t typically want to be sitting in water for long periods of time, and instead should be top-watered fairly frequently with adequate drainage
