Hello! I’m concerned about my pitcher plant. It stopped putting out pitchers a few months ago and just has those small ones. I repotted it yesterday and thought maybe it wasn’t getting enough sunlight although i do have a grow light above where it is, so i put it on my window sill and I came back home to its leaves like this! :( Is it sun burnt? or reacting to being repotted?
The first thing with it stopping the production of pitchers, is could be because of a drop in humidity. Nepenthes produce less pitchers if your humidity is too low so that’s probably what that is. Secondly, from my experience nepenthes can get blacked leaves a bit when you transplant them, it’ll recover from it. I would just try to increase the plants humidity!

It definitely either too cold, not getting enough light, or drying out or being waterlogged. It looks like it’s a ventrata and it seems to be in the right substrate, are you keeping it in good light for 10hrs at least? What’s your humidity and temp like?
0개 좋아요I agree with what others are saying. Also, it’s hard to tell from the photo, but do you have your pot in a tray of water? Unlike most other carnivorous plants, Nepenthes don’t typically want to be sitting in water for long periods of time, and instead should be top-watered fairly frequently with adequate drainage
