Hello, does anyone know what could be wrong with my pitcher plant? It is doing this with most of its leaves and hasn’t created a single pitcher!

    Definitely needs more light 💡 I have mine in a northwest window and I still had to get a powerful light before they would pitcher. This app is wrong about nepenthes light needs. The leaves from the bottom will die off naturally and it looks bad but it’s not. Only other thing it might be is overwatering but I would smell the substrate to see if it smells bad then repot it. Sphagnum moss, bark and chunky perlite is my favorite mix

    I stuck a clamp lamp on the blinds and use a sansi 5000k 4500lm 24w

    Yeah I’d say it’s absolutely a lack of light- full sun for 4 hours and bright indirect for 12, try to work up to that from where you are. Gypsygramma and I have a similar set up where our window neps get supplemental light. I’m curious do you have the plant sitting in water? Can I see more of the set up?

    It doesn’t sit in water and it is in a hanging pot by my window. I could still see why it would not be getting enough light, I’ll have to buy one of those lights!
