Mine was dying when I got it and I figured leaving it in water would help a little

I got mine on etsy lasy year as a starter. It did take a few months to rehab it (I was also learning how to take care of it) but, itâs been doing great ever since. Buying one might have to be a long term goal instead of a short term one. They need a lot of sun but donât love the heat and need to live in water. So if you are seeing them in the store without any of these things, thatâs probably why they look sad. If itâs a good price, bring it home, put it in a bowl of distilled water and give it a grow light right above itâs leaves. It should perk up!đ

Me too when u got it none of the stickiness was on the leave and it took a while of constant monitoring to have the leaves full like that
