     Yes, mine lives in a bowl of water. They truly need a bog set up unlike pitcher plants.

     I got mine on etsy lasy year as a starter. It did take a few months to rehab it (I was also learning how to take care of it) but, it’s been doing great ever since. Buying one might have to be a long term goal instead of a short term one. They need a lot of sun but don’t love the heat and need to live in water. So if you are seeing them in the store without any of these things, that’s probably why they look sad. If it’s a good price, bring it home, put it in a bowl of distilled water and give it a grow light right above it’s leaves. It should perk up!😊

     Me too when u got it none of the stickiness was on the leave and it took a while of constant monitoring to have the leaves full like that
