   Okay, im not too new but also have been learning as I go.. been keeping carnivorous plants for a few months. Nepenthes like moist feet not waterlogged, you can water a little every day or every other day.. Drosera spatulata likes waterlogged feet. So I keep mine in a deeper dish with about quarter of water full so it can drink as it likes. I use maxsea 16-16-16 (use as directed) for fertilizer, fertilize the leaves on both plants, never the roots so just spray on top and for feeding I either use the same maxsea just half strength to feed the pitchers a few drops if you’re keeping them inside or a ready to feed or even bugs. Hope this helps to at least get you started and

     I got this type though, which is called Sarracenia, they are a little more beginner friendly
