I’ve had a venous fly trap before but it sadly died, and I was going to try and get another one I was wondering if anyone has any tips on them!

Distilled water only, lots of sun. Traps will die off after they’ve closed a few times, trim them off when they turn black. Use mosses instead of dirt for substrate and keep it bottom watered. They’re swamp plants so they like to be damp/humid. If you live in a dry area consider a terrarium or humidifier/mister. But distilled water is number one. They cannot handle the minerals in tap and spring water
