I have heard about this "winter dormancy" period for Venus flytraps, does anyone have tips for this? ( first time having a Venus Flytrap before😅)

    I was told to put mine in the basement next to a window that gets a little bit of light or in the fridge

    f you live in an area WITHOUT frost, chuck them outside. if you live in a frosty area, a garage, basement, or your fridge can work.

      So, bring them inside before a frost? I'm doing my first season with them outside.

      yes! they can tolerate below freezing but not for more than a night. if you know you're going to receive snow or that it's going to be below freezing for two or more days, take it inside
