When is the best time to divide a pinguicula? I bought this one, so I could divide it and give one to my brother. I'm a bit confused on when one can divide a ping.

    I’ve always heard the best time to divide them is when it is in it’s succulent stage.

    Mine isn’t big enough to split yet, but I learned this from perplexity: The best time to divide a Pinguicula is usually in late winter to early spring, just as it’s coming out of its succulent/resting phase and starting to make new carnivorous leaves. At that point the rosettes are easier to separate, and the plant tends to recover faster.
