Here is my buddy Biter. I had him sitting in distilled water for bottom feeding. He got black edges on his aerial biters so I contacted the doctor who said overwatering. So I took out water tray and took plant out of pot and gently squeezed excess water out and replaced in pot. Here is a picture of today’s plant. No longer wet, but I have another question. I feed Biter these Cubes of gel, which he loves. Should I continue giving him one cube a week or wait. Not sure. Last gave cube 1 week ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

    These are bog plants and need to be in a water tray to do well. I wouldn't trust an online "diagnoser". Especially since most are not for carnivorous plants at all

      I'm not familiar with this food, i feed all types of music carni's bugs. Maybe someone is familiar

      So it was ok to keep distilled water in tray under pot? Why did the edge of the plant’s leaves turn black?

      Are you feeding the same trap? They only close about 3x before they die back. VFT also completely die back seasonally.

      I've never used it. But I've never seen one for carnivorous. I can't think of any instance where a bog carnivorous would be "Too Wet" or "overwatered". As long as you're using distilled, R/O or rain water. They need a tray.

    Yes I use distilled water. I will continue to keep water in bottom of plant and see what happens. Thanks!!
