Hi, Iām new to owning nepenthes but not to carnivorous plants in general, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this one, itās from a garden centre and was very neglected, Iāve been trying to nurse it back to health but itās still struggling, Iāve changed its soil to a better mix and kept it under the same conditions as my other two but it just wonāt perk up, any advice to help it recover? Itās a nepenthes gaya btw
Iām no expert on these, but I do have the same one. Mine took foreeever to settle in. Its been 3+ months now and itās finally starting to produce healthy pitchers. I also repotted mine back then (my carnivores are all in straight sphagnum moss with the water reservoir at least half way full at all times). For the past 3 months its put out lots of new leaves but as soon as the pitcher would start to mature it would go black, the leaves stayed fine though. This past week its finally started to mature its first pitcher and has 3-4 more on the way. Its also under a good grow light for 10hrs/day. So I think its just a waiting game. I would cut the flower off though so its not putting energy into it.

0 gillningarThey Like humidity and donāt leave it sit in water. The two things I learned that have helped the most.
