My flytraps are starting to turn pretty brown and yellow. Are they getting too much sun? The mouths were turning red so I assumed it was alright. The food and watering hasn’t changed at all. They get about 8-10 hours from a grow light. Here’s a before and after for reference. Not the best pics.
These look good honestly, idk how much experience or knowledge you have with VFTs but the traps only close on avg about 5 or 6 times before they die off. When they do die off the whole leaf will go as the traps themselves are part of the leaf just super specialized. Depending on your hemisphere they could also be going into dormancy and dying back to the ribosome which is natural as well, they’ll start to come back around the spring Outside of that, if you’re super worried about them you could clip the flower stalk so that it’ll put that energy into leaf growth. But honestly they look pretty good to me.
