I really need some help here. This will be my second picture plant and it’s not doing very well. I’ve moved it to different locations. It says to keep the soil, moist sun, part shade and not to mist. What am I doing wrong? I really don’t want to lose this plant. One picture has already dried up.
I’m not any expert by any stretch but the nursery that I bought mine from gave me these tips: plant in long-fiber sphagnum moss (regular soil will kill the plant), use bright, indirect, or filtered light (mine are near a west facing window with an additional grow light and they love it), soil should stay damp at all times, but you don’t want to have them standing in water (I flush mine with distilled water once per week or more if the top of the moss is getting dry), in a dry climate mist your nepenthes twice a day (I am not in a dry environment and still mist twice a day. Depending on the type of plant you have, some need that humidity), and they cannot tolerate freezing temperatures. You should also always use distilled water or rain water. Carnivorous plants don’t tolerate tap water well. Hopefully that helps!

It’s normal for the pitchers to die off eventually, so don’t worry too much about that. However, you might already know this, but *don’t* fertilize them. If you do, they’ll get rid of their pitchers because they won’t feel the need to eat insects, but this can be harmful to the plant Like the other comment said, make sure to keep them in sphagnum moss, not soil

Is it lowland or highland ? It might need more humidity, I keep mine up by light misting
