One of my baby nepenthes has a strange set of leaves and I have no idea why. Have y’all ever seen this before? The first one in the 3 is the same plant from a few weeks ago and it shows when the split started

This is the thrip damaged cutting right? It’s super common to have leaf deformities from the pesticide, or just thrip damage over all. It’ll be alright just give it time.

That’s what I’m worried about. I’m noticing little bumps on the leaves that are concerning too. The only thing I sprayed it with was neem oil and that was before I chopped it. I’m not sure what systemic would do to the plant, have you tried? The other 2 seem to be ok so far. I’ll just keep an eye on them for now though. Thanks so much for your advice. I was hoping you’d see my post. 😊

What type of bumps? As long as you’re positive that there’s no more thrips and you’re keeping everything else stable- light and water- than I’m sure it will come around after another leaf or two comes out. Something that could help it right now is to use a plastic bag to seal it and increase its humidity to 100% for a little while. Arber insecticide is super gentle but extremely effective. It’s also non toxic to humans and animals. If you have IG you can reach out to me @nepenthomancer and I will always get back to you within a couple of hours. 💙
