Any tips on how to report a Venus fly trap? All of the traps are close to the surface so unsure of how to repot it without causing the traps to shut. Any advice would be great, thanks <3

    Should be okay provided you don’t touch the hairs on the inside of the traps, just be gentle with the roots and obviously pot it into a carnivorous plant mix or sphagnum since they hate rich soil. If you accidentally trigger a trap don’t worry and just leave it and it should reopen when it realises it has no insect inside (no repeated triggering), and waste less energy.

      Thank you for replying! I was under the impression the teeth looking parts of the trap would also cause the trap to close
