What's this growing out of my VFT is that why they’re all having yellow spots, brown spots wrinkly, and the little eyelash piece thing at the top field kind of crunchy but the thing is the right medicine soil is constantly moist

    I’m not a vft owner, just pitcher plant, sundew, and pings so I’ll let someone else help you with the what’s growing question. I just wanted to ask what soil it is in? Bog plants like to be in a tray of water but they need special soil too. That looks like regular potting mix so I just wanted to be sure it wasn’t. If it is, get some sphagnum moss to re-plant it into and that should help a lot. Soak the sphagnum moss in distilled water first and then carefully wrap it around the roots. Then fill the rest of the pot with the moss and place the plant inside. There are some good videos on you tube showing you how to repot bog plants. 😊

    Those are new traps growing in. You can google the difference of a VFT flower and trap but flowers are tall straight stems normally with clusters of little balls on the end that bloom. As you know, you should cut those so they don’t take all of the nutrients the plant needs. Traps on the other hand are shorter with more of a flat end that will develop into a full trap like your other grown ones. Grown traps are temporary and die after closing about 7 times or just over time. Once black you should trim them if you are keeping your plant indoors as they will take a very long time to decompose naturally.
