SOS! Am I able to save this Venus Fly Trap?? I was away for a weekend and forgot to water it :(

    Give it a bottom watering soak for around 20 minutes to an hour and then make sure it drains thouroughly. It should perk up a bit soon or by tomorrow. Post an update photo after it perks up; right now it's hard to tell what's dead and what's just super dehydrated. Be very careful not to move the leaves; they'll be brittle while they're dry

    Ask ChatGPT but I’m thinking increase humidity too, maybe even a dome with a little bit of ventilation

    Idk… I don’t think so… I’m sorry.. You can try but it’ll be an uphill fight. I’d cut off the blackened leaves just to reduce the amount of water it’ll need to rehydrate itself. Though , I’d leave some regular dying leaves as nutrients for itself for the plant while it recovers. 😕

    this is an update after watering, i’ll try getting rid of some dead leaves. i could try a cup and see? it can’t hurt i guess. i’m sad because this was my really great fly trap, my other one did not have this many leaves.
