My husband really wanted one of these, and I’m quite nervous about her care because she’s sooooo different from my other house plants. First pic is Sunday when I got her, second is today. So far so good…lol! She has a fair bit of roots peeking out of the bottom. Can I leave her be for a while, though?
You can probability leave it be for a bit, at least while it adjusts to your conditions. If the roots get more out of hand, definitely repot it.

It should be alright for a while! I only like to repot my Sarracenia during their dormancy period since its less disrupting to them, and during the growing season they tend to grow their roots out of the drainage holes in just a matter of months. I always wait until like December to repot, and I haven't had any issues.
좋아요 1개 Great advice, thank you! I bought a self watering pot today, and placed the nursery pot inside. I’m making sure to keep her plenty hydrated, and I mist her twice a day as well. One week and she looks great so I’m hoping to keep her thriving!

I would definitely repot her soon those little ones you see are from another division.

So these are all the same plant? How much time between potting? Does zone matter? I’m in NEKS, which is zone 6a/6b. Your plant is beautiful!
0개 좋아요 Repot once every two years. And full sun as you acclimated it one hour a day then two etc.
