I was wondering if I could put a humidifier that uses non purified water near my nepenthes pitcher?

    Humidifiers recommend using distilled water in general. I don’t 😬 So I get mineral buildup inside my machine that will probably eventually break it, to be honest. So you can, the minerals won’t be in the steam, but it’s not good for the humidifier itself

    If mineral buildup is a concern, you can use demineralization capsules (can find them online)

    Recently I have heard of water with too high TDS actually killing neps over time. Best to use the same water you water them with.
