Question: I have several VFTs that have “died”, I assume they went dormant. How do I care for them during dormancy? Water? Light vs dark? Temperature? How long before I should see new growth? Or when do I know they are truly dead? (Pic is the one still alive.)
VFT will only go dormant in response to cold temperatures, or during the winter months. if your VFTs are dying outside of the cold period where you live, they're just dying. not dormant. if you don't get frost, just keep them outside. if you do get frost, do NOT leave them outside, they do not like freezing temps at all. look into the 'fridge method' for indoor VFTs
