You can remove it if you want, but if you don’t it could help attract other bugs. If you decide to remove it, make sure you don’t hit the trigger hairs.

If I happen to hit the trigger hairs, will it reopen?

If you hit the trigger hair twice it will close, but it will reopen depending on how old that trap is. If it’s one of the first time that trap has caught something it will re open. It just uses a lot of energy to close so that why you should avoid it. Also can I ask what conditions you keep you plant in? She looks very healthy!

I do spend a lot of time with my plants. I only use distilled water and keep in a south facing window in addition to grow lights.
