I rescued this lil guy 5 days ago off the clearance rack of Home Depot. His buddies were almost all black traps; I had to save him. They were sitting in plastic packages, and the soil was barely moist. I cut off the black traps and repotted him in sphagnum moss, sat him in a container of distilled water and put him directly under my grow light. I can’t put him outside because we get varying temperatures in Sept. I’ve never had a Venus flytrap before (I have a happy pitcher plant though 😁) and he looks a little sad and droopy. He will almost certainly get fruit flies in my house, thanks to my kids haha. I’m wondering if the pot is too small. Do they like space? Is it ok if the traps sit on the moss?
