      Toss a bug in the pitcher and it doesn’t matter if the bug is alive or dead. Since the pitcher is already filled with gastric acid and it doesn’t kill it no matter the amount of times you feed it, unlike Venus fly trap, where it’s traps will die after a number of times of being closed.

      I use fish food in the winter. No bugs indoors especially in fridged weather.
