What’s wrong with my Venus fly I use rainwater and it sits pretty close to the window and I never let the Spagna dry out

    Traps Naturally die, so that is normal, but never top water because it can cause crown rot, always bottom water by filling the tray or bowl below it to water it.

    After a trap is used 3 or so times, it dies. Its why a lot of people rotate whoch trap they feed. They also are a carnivorous that goes dormant.

    To me it actually looks a little too wet. VFT should always be damp but not necessarily always wet.

      Ok yaeh because I have it in a dish of water that is like an inch tall and the pot is two inches tall

      Oh ok I see. When it comes out of its nursery pot it will be better. (Which by the way you should do soon since it’s best to do in dormancy season)
