My Venus Flytrap of three years died last week, or thatās what I thought. I was really busy and forgot poor Pete. I came home to notice his soil bone try and every single trap completely black with mold. I dug down and found the rhizome brown as well. Not a singe speck of green was visible. I was planning to throw him out but hadnāt got to it yet when my brother noticed a tiny sprout a week later. I immediately trimmed all of the dead leaves off and another spout appeared a few days later. Itās like a miracle! I canāt believe the resilience of this little guy!
