I just bought this plant from store and I have no idea on where to start, any “new plant” care tips. What should I do?

I just got one from a grocery store recently, around Halloween lol. Not an expert but here's what I found out. Biggest thing is, don't water with tap water - they can't have any kind of minerals whatsoever. Use distilled water or rain water. Same thing with planting medium, it has to be something inert like spaghnum moss, peat, or coco coir plus drainage material. I did 50/50 peat moss and perlite. They also need a TON of light to do well, like a full 12 hours. It's too cold here to put them outside so my two carnivores are the only ones I have grow lights for lol. I know some people keep theirs bottom watered by placing inside a tray that can hold water, and keeping the tray topped up. I just water mine every other day so that the medium stays damp, and I don't empty the saucer overflow underneath like I would for other plants so she can keep sipping. They come from boggy areas, so they like a moisture-rich environment. Other than being careful with the initial setup, I've found it pretty easy to care for. Fertilizer will kill them so no need to do that, and she catches bugs on her own. But if they don't, it's not a big deal. Like one or two bugs a month is plenty I've heard. Try not to mess with the traps/accidentally set them off/overfeed bc it uses a lot of energy and will make the leaf die off faster. There's a thing with dormancy during the winter, but I haven't done that with mine yet so can't really speak on it

No problem! For more in depth info, I like the videos from Carnivorous Plants Hub on youtube 🙂 There's like an hour long one from June that covers everything from repotting to advanced care (also a 10 min version lol)

They love humidity, feed an insect once a month, make sure the insect is smaller than the trap but not too small, water when top inch of soil is a bit dry
