My twinky (my nepenthes gaya 🤣) killed off all its pitchers when I got it, and it didn’t start making more for a month or two. I can’t see twinky very well, but from this picture he looks fine. For house environment friendly nepenthes such as gaya, ventrata, etc, the main culprit that causes slow/no pitcher growth is lack of light, not humidity.

that makes sense! i took the janky terrarium off GAHAH and i moved twinky and hwahwa (my flytrap) to an area of my room that gets more light and they’re both looking better! no new growth but i think they’ll be dormant for a while (i read that carnivorous plants go dormant during fall/winter?) i’m just happy leaves aren’t still dying 😭

So I don’t think nepenthes go dormant, but hwahwa will need to in order to be healthy! I think he will need to be in cooler temperatures though. Some people put them in the refrigerator. You could also use the garage if it’s not too cold.
