hello! little update: two of my pitchers have been browning for some time now, im not sure if it’s sun burn or if they reached the end of their cycle but i was wondering if i should cut them off to have the plant focus it’s energy on growing the other 4 new pitchers coming in?? also any tips on growing new big healthy pitchers are appreciated! thanks in advance

Don’t cut them yet! When the pitchers start browning, that’s when the plant is “eating” and absorbing the nutrients. Once it’s mostly brown you can cut them off. Brown pitchers aren’t cute, but unfortunately that’s just part of having carnivorous plants…some of the leaves are always going to be in different phases.

I’m my experience, that’s a sign they’re unhappy with the amount of water and humidity they’re getting. Don’t cut them all the way off until they’re all brown, or cut just to the edge of the brown.
