I am very worried about getting a flytrap. So did I get everything down: 1: wet feet 2: bright light (I will be using grow and natural light is that fine?) 3: Humidity (I live in a dry climate but rain has helped but I was going to mist and what else?) 4: Need to feed them live bugs 5: Keep in their type of soil (Can I use moss?) I think that’s it?

I use sphagnum Moss, but peat and perlite mixed is also great. Everything seems to be good!

In my experience, flytraps can do just fine without high humidity, so I wouldn't worry too much about misting (I live in California where it's pretty hot and dry in the summer, but my flytrap is doing well outside) And as for feeding, you can give them dead or freeze-dried bugs if it's hard to get live ones. You'll just have to trick the plant a little to make sure it actually eats the bug

Hi! You might also want to keep in mind that VFTs require dormancy over the winter or they’ll only last a few years
