Plant warrior

I am so nervous about this plant, but it is one of what I wanted forever and my first one didn’t make it. Why is one of the pictures totally dried up and leaves are turning brown? It is in the original pot from the greenhouse along with whatever soil they used to plant it in. I have changed its location, probably four times and I just don’t know what to do. It is on my front porch in Southwest Florida. It is very humid. do you think it gets too much sun? I try to feel the soil to make sure it’s not really wet but at least moist.

    it could very simply be part of the cycle of the plant. pitchers will come and go, and you can clip off any brown or dead pitchers (but leave the rest of the leaf). make sure to water with distilled or rain water, as harder water with chemicals can cause the leaves to crisp and die. a super good informative website is Northwest Sarracenia, if you would like some more detailed info. hope this helps, good luck!!

    What temperatures has it been? It hasn’t dropped below 60 has it? Where did you buy it from? Did it come in the mail? What type of water are you using to water it? What substrate is it kept in? I can help!

      Temperatures have been in the 80s. I bought it from a nursery. I’ve been watering with RO water. It is in the same pot and potting substrate that it came in.

      Is it a close substrate like peat moss? It’s possible that the humidity change is upsetting it
