Pete update! I removed all the leaves and placed him where I put my plants for dormancy. He is looking green and is even growing a bit during dormancy. Probably going to repot soon since when he had lots of leaves he was running out of room. He’s small but healthy and looks like he will be very happy in spring!
Don’t put it all purpose potting mix the nutrient richness of it will kill it. You should be putting it carnivorous plant soil or sphagnum moss.

좋아요 1개 Peat moss is the product of sphagnum moss and other organic materials that decompose in peat bogs over thousands of years. Both sphagnum and peat moss are fine for carnivorous plants and peat moss is actually closer to what a carnivorous plant would live in naturally. There is other stuff but it isn’t man made. It is natural and found in bogs.
