Look who I brought home. The pitcher is outside on the balcony and the sundew is on the windowsill. Both will get morning sun. Any care advice?

    Unless your temps will not drop under 65 it’s not advisable to keep nepenthes outdoors. Both will likely need more than morning sun. They will need water with less that 70 TDS and lots of it, they shouldn’t dry out. If the nep is potted in something other than long fiber spagnum/perlite you’ll want to switch it to that so it’s easiest to care for. Don’t sweat about feeding them, that will happen on its own and they won’t die without being fed. They will however struggle quickly if their light needs are not met, or if they’re given water that’s got a high mineral content.       Thanks! Following I bought them from a local, Florida, carnivorous plant grower. We have enough rain that I can collect rain water unless you think filtered or distilled is better. There is a grow light nearby and will make sure they are close by.

      That’s great, rain water will be fine! Temps should be alright down there too for the most part-I wouldn’t leave a lowland or intermediate nep out there during the winter though. I hope you enjoy carnivorous plants and if you have fungus gnats at all you’ll be super impressed with the drosera ^^
