Is it typical for nepenthes to drop pitchers this time of year or is my nepenthes st gaya unhappy about something? He has been under grow lights since September and has been thriving until about 1-2 weeks ago, in which time he's started to drop 3 pitchers. The first one is totally black, the second one has this crazy line of healthy tissue at the bottom, and today I noticed a third pitcher starting to brown. These are not the oldest pitchers, there are at least 2-3 older pitchers that are still healthy. My humidity has been in the 30-40%s for the past month but is 50%+ most of the year. I haven't checked the roots but i suspect this plant might be getting rootbound so maybe it needs a repot, but not sure if that leads to pitcher death. There are also multiple basal shoots growing like crazy so maybe the mother plant is dying off to support them...? Any insight is appreciated as i have never had this issue before!
