Newbie here I was wondering if these look healthy to y'all or if I need to do something different I've repoted with peat moss n perlite I also feed them once a week . Meet Venus she's a beauty

    it looks like its doing fine but would heavily benefit from more light! (assuming its not a king henry), the leaves look long and etoliated, and the traps should have more red in them :) these guys normally need at least 6 hrs of direct light to thrive!

      i dont think you're doing anything wrong, as your other succulant looks happy. the distance looks good as well, but if you are willing to try a new grow light, i would recommend Barrina! they have some relatively cheap ones on amazon. I just googled King Henry VFT's, and yours definately looks similar! long, skinny petioles with just a touch of red in the traps, so theres a high chance that there is nothing to worry about :)

    Ty so much 😊 n yes I'll definitely check out that brand of light I also think I may be putting them in shock because I've been doing 12 hrs of light a day n I haven't been decreasing the light to replicate life of an outside flytrap I've just been keeping it on bright n then turning it off so I've started dimming the light periodically on the suns schedule here in Florida but I'm going to start doing only 6 to 8hrs instead of 12 and see if that makes a difference

      i dont dim mine either, so i wouldnt worry about that, and 12hrs of light from a growlight is a good amount! i honestly dont think you need to change anything after realizing its likely a King Henry :)
