so overall they seem okay..but there’s 2 smaller traps on each plant i wasn’t able to add water to as they hadn’t opened yet and i didn’t want to force them open, but they have since started shriveling. what should i do? cut them off? let them shrivel then pluck? also wondering if i should pot them together, the company sent me 2 on accident which lucky for me but now what to do with them🤔
Don’t repot yet. Snip the shriveled pitchers back to the end of the leaf part with sanitized scissors. They wouldn’t need to have water added if they hadn’t opened yet they would have their own fluid if they were going to be viable. Probably just shriveled from travel stress which would be even more of a reason to not repot
1 like tysm!! what if my leaf is also black and wrinkly 🤔there is 2 spots on 2 leaves that had pitchers die. i don’t mean to sound annoying so sorry if i am! i just want to give this girl her best chances
0 likes You aren’t annoying in the slightest ever, please feel free to ask any questions that cross your mind I’m here for you! I’ll try to answer quicker honestly. You can remove leaves that dry up or shrivel or turn black, if they turned yellow and then black there’s a very good chance that it was from too little of light. You turned up your grow light though so that shouldn’t happen anymore. What are your readings looking like on your hygrometer?
