I’m looking for my next recommendation! I really enjoy my Philodendron Florida Ghost, I love the shape and variation in color of the new leaves. Can someone give me a recommendation of another plant they think I’d be a fan of based on this? :) thanks!

Oh the “joy” of houseplants. I successfully fought off spider mites in many plants this summer. My monstera, while “ok” was showing signs of “something” else going on. Today I drug her and BARELY managed to lift her into the tub. Gave her a shower, wiped all her leaves down, trimmed off lots of arial roots, and some leaves that had significant damage. Spotted at least three new leaves starting to poke out. Then went back in and and sprayed with Captain Jack Super Soap. Send all the good vibes that I can rid her of the thrips I think started causing the damage.

Added some new babies to the collection today! So I guess the the bottom right one is a Philodendron Punctata? My go to grower had it today. Anyone have any experience with it? I guess it’s similar to a white wizard!

What plants with velvety foliage (like Alocasia Frydek or Calathea Jungle Velvet) can do well in a dryer environment? The only one I know of is philodendron micans.. TIA!

I just used plant food for the first time ever. I’ve had plants for years. 🫣 Please be good to my plants! I know that throughout the colder months it’s not needed when they are not in their growing season. I just wanted to try it once before they go dormant.

Look at this beautiful marble queen pathos! Although water has been dripping off the tip of the leaves, just little droplets. Anyone know what that is?
How can I keep the info on my outdoor plants but turn off all the care notifications. It’s way too overwhelming. I have too many plants to watch for a beginner. I just want to keep my houseplants healthy and let my outdoor ones fend for themselves until I get better.
