Is there any way to bring back to red/pink that my plant had when I got it? It went away over time.
So I’m experimenting, I got a dragonfruit plant from sprouts and I decided to germ the seeds. They are growing little green bits but does anybody have any tips for moving them into soil. I have some little pots they could use but I worry about the success rate. Let me know please!
Took a few minutes to name some of my plants. Some clever, some cringy. However, it was fun.
Help! I dont know whats wrong with my ppp. Ive had her for maybe 3 weeks. I had to change the soil and she had spider mites. Someone recommended i put her in orchid mix so shes currently in orchid mix. I was thinking of mixing the bark with potting soil. Her bottom leaves are green yellowish. It looks like the picture(not my picture btw) i dont know what to do! I also put neem oil for the spider mites on her a while ago and put her on the window which I shouldn’t have done🙄 so idk if she got burnt with the neem oil and the sun or if im overwatering
I need some help identifying this plant, my mom got it a few weeks ago and I have no idea what it is, i think it’s some sort of philodendron but I don’t know what type.
I need help! I got this plant a few weeks ago and it’s been doing fine but I don’t exactly know what it is. Planta said it’s a flaming sword so maybe it just hasn’t bloomed but I’m doubtful. Could someone tell me if planta is right and if it is how to help this plant (Boris) bloom?
Should I be concerned that my propagated arrowhead has only sprouted one long root? I propagated it about 3 weeks ago and it is in water. I change the water every 5-7 days

I currently have a Lawson False Cypress and I had to cut some stems off because they were dried up and dead. Does anyone know how long it would take for it to grow back or for new stems to grow in? I don’t want to accidentally think it’s dead and throw it out.
My Calathea is doing really well I think! Theres alot of new leaves coming in (like 8 or so) but all the older ones are a bit droopy now and not really going all the way up and down. Is this normal since its focused on the new growth?
Does anyone have any tips on keeping this little spotted begonia alive? I keep it on the Planta watering schedule and near humidifier and preferred light.. all his plant friends with similar needs are thriving but he’s just meh…is it me or him??
Oh to be a tiny plastic duck on a leaf rn.

Hey everyone, I have a window ledge in my room that is 3 or 4 inches long, it is also north facing, do you guys have any recommendations?
So excited today!!!! I am going to pick up a fish tank to create a terrarium for some plants. Any suggestions on what plants I should plant in there? I need some that love humidity and don’t grow over 1ft. All help appreciated!
Hey there everyone! I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of plant this is? When I scan this plant it keeps coming up as a pothos but that doesn’t seem right. Any help would be appreciated!
PPFD Question! I am new to the plant game and am trying to figure out the best placements for my plants within my room. I have a south- and west- facing window in my bedroom. The south-facing window has another white apartment building right next to it, about 30 feet away, so I don’t believe it gets the full sun it otherwise would. However, the west-facing window is completely unobstructed. I’ve used light meters on my phone (specifically Photone) to attempt to gauge the PPFD readings in order to put my plants where they’d be the happiest, but the readings just don’t seem to add up to me and I’m so confused. When I put my phone/meter directly up to my west-facing window at the sunniest time of the day for that window (shown in second image, at 5pm), the highest reading I get is 122 umol/m^2/s, which is like ‘moderate light,’ except it’s when it’s direct sun. When I pull back even a foot from the window, it falls to ~15-20 umol/m^2/s. So for my plants that can’t handle direct sunlight, I feel I have no options as to where I can place them for adequate ‘bright, indirect light.’ Any suggestions? Is my light meter possibly off?
