So I’ve been wanting some hanging plants in my room. I have a good area that has lots of sunlight but now I just need some ideas of some good hanging plants. Any suggestions?

Did you know that hamsters can eat spider plants? It’s great enrichment for them. You can either give them the whole plant or make a salad for them with the leaves included! Just remember to cut off any flowers and babies the the plant produces because they are toxic for your little furry friend!

Hi Plant Community! So I am having a little trouble with all my plants and bugs. More specifically, these little gnat bugs that live in my plants soil. I have been told that they like the damp soil but I can’t just stop watering my plants to get rid of them! I’m hoping anyone has any solutions! I have tried the mist bottle with water and hydrogen peroxide but that doesn’t seem to work either 😑 Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance!

Hoya rope plant that I just got. Should I remove the pinkish leaves? Are they dead? It’s growing so fast already!

I have this plant and her new leaves are doing great! I've had her for a few years, my parents gave her to me when she was HUGE! Literally taller than the ceiling, and so she had a second stalk growing in so I cut the other HUGE part about 2 years ago. Her old leaves, before I really knew what I was doing (concerning plants) have been brown on the edges but her new leaves are great! Anything I can do to make them look any better?

My Ctenanthe Burle Marxii Amagris is not dead. Period! Lived under my care almost 1 month. I have a bleak history with a few dead plants in the maranta family and vowed never to buy another one. A grower sent this for free in a order as compensation for another undelivered plant. I treaded it no better or organ my other plants. It’s on the same 2 inch pot during quarantine. Fed it time released fertilizer. Gave it tap water instead of bottled water. It did not complain or sulk! My research stated it is the chilliest , no fuss maranta you can own! I water twice a week because of the small 2 inch pot. I will repot and reduce watering schedule. Highly recommended! I can’t believe I’m stating that about a maranta!

Anyone know anything about how to care for the Resurrection plant I want to plant it in soil but from the care videos I’ve seen they always have them in water but that’s not how they grow in nature Also I’ve seen these plants can be used in witchcraft and me being Christian I’d like to avoid talking about any of that it just makes me uncomfortable (thank you for respecting my believes)

The beautiful variegated baby that came in on my neon heart leaf philodendron. 😙⭐️🍀

I have a lavender mint thriving in a 22 in pot. It has developed several runners (horizontal) also very healthy. Should I be staking those runners or simply let them fall over the side of the pot? Thoughts?

Anyone know what I’m doing wrong with my peace Lily? She’s older. I only water with purified water. I don’t water until the moisture meter is mid-moist to slightly dry. Sits in a north facing window. No AC or heater.

Does anyone know what this is? I found a piece on the ground by a plant pot and grabbed it to look up later but it’s not what I thought it was. I thought it was string of something but I can’t find anything that looks like it. The stem is kind of fuzzy btw

Oh my gosh guys! I pruned my polka dot so she can get bushier and she grew a flower! I’m not sure if that’s good or not tho lol
