My pothos was in a “self watering” planter which I don’t use in the intended manner so I popped off the bottom to make sure it wasn’t retaining water and I found this. Should I repot? 😬
My favorite gift my husband got me is this ikea shelf with drawers that I loaded up and labeled with all my soil mediums. 💚🪴
So I’m propagating 4 stems off my pothos plant, they’re growing their roots now, at what point do I plant them in soil?
Help!!! My Sago palm plant is turning yellow and has been for about a month now. I thought I over watered it so I have t watered it in awhile. But it’s getting worse.
I’m new to the app and I’m not the most successful plant owner. However, I find that the app requests ‘fertilizing’ more often than suggested at the plant store where I bought the plant. I was told not to fertilize in the summer or fall. Anyway, should I just follow instructions and not question? (BTW, a couple leaves turned yellow and fell of my fig plant a week after fertilizing it).
My snake plant has two new babies growing right at the edge of my pot. Will they be okay growing that close to the side? Should I do anything about it or just leave it be? Thanks in advance!
What are y’all’s thoughts on prop lifting? Also enjoy some of this plant photography 😌
Anyone know what this is? Does this look normal?
new plant owner here with my first monstera which was recently bought in the past few days in this condition :). the leaves are all very curled upwards, which i believe to be a sign of under watering, and so i bottom watered it about 3 days ago with plenty of water and placed it in a north facing window which gets plenty of indirect bright sunlight. it has loads of brown crispy bits toward the bottom of the plant, and there’s one leaf which is extremely soft and rips at the slightest movement. i was wondering if the brown bits and fragile leaf should be pruned off? and as well as the small leaves with no fenestrations. should these be pruned off to encourage and make room for leaves with fenestrations? i was hoping to see some sort of sign that the plant was improving, but it still seems very sad. any tips? thanks :)
Dinner for the deer! I was moving around pots and left 3 of these hosta too long where the deer could feed. Anything I can do to save these? Should I just cut them down? They are out of feeding zone now. Sigh.
Anyone know how to use the light meter on this app???
Gloss is looking really good! She is pushing out a new leaf as I type this!
Meet the kids 🥰
Giant Taro on sale for $29.98 because two leaves looked cosmetically damaged. The size of this plant would have been $100+ no problem, so I decided to save him. Everyone, meet Brian! #gianttaro #alocasia #plantmom
Does anyone know how to take a plant out of the graveyard? I thought my calathea was dead but he sprouted some new leaves!
Reality plant meme? Wow! 🌱🪴💚
This was my mothers favorite plant, she passed recently. Any idea what it is? And suggestions on how to get its happiness back?
