It’s a little hard to tell from this photo but the top of my moon cactus is browning. I know these guys take nutrients out of the graft but so far that part is healthy! I was just wondering if this guys is just actively dying or if there’s anything I can do to stop further browning. There is no water in the vase at the moment!

Why are the leaves of this snake plant so skinny and curled?

Y’all, I’m so excited about this because I’ve never had an alocasia be healthy or live long enough for this to happen…but what do I do? It looks like another one is coming up too.

Tomato’s are sprouting!!!!

I never knew plants preferred filtered water. Is that true?? I have bad luck with plants and I’m wondering if this could be a factor. How do you give your plants filtered water?

I found a rufibarba and a Maui Queen at a store today. The rufi looked rough but with a lil water, it’s perked up. Cross your fingers for me that I can perk these guys up. Also got a ctenanthe that is still in water so another challenge to play with!

I’m being given this, I think it’s an alocasia polly, to rescue. It was left neglected at my friend’s office and I offered to give it a shot. Can anyone help me with what to do with her to give her a chance?? Pretty please ☺️

Weird sign of progress but this is the first dying leaf on my Calathea Freddie that has had the chance to actually turn yellow instead of immediately browning and crisping 🥲 We’re gettin somewhere!

Hi there! My jade plant has been growing strong for 2+ years. The “trunk” is now pretty thick. Does anyone recommend I repot it into a bigger pot? I’ve got some 6” ones but those might be too big. I’ve honestly been surprised at how this one just keeps growing. Thank you!

I found this beautiful Old Man of the Andes at Home Depot (orange flowers) and subsequently found out that flowers being hot glued to cacti is a Thing 😵‍💫😑 I did some research and it seems like the flowers probably won’t harm the cactus, so not a big deal in general (I will be trying to remove it tho). Some stores do sell cacti that have real flowers that bloom, like the Mamarilla shown below. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else who likes succulents and didn’t know this already! I def think seeing flowering cacti is worth a closer look!

Hi! Do you think it’s okay to plant a donkey’s tail succulent in a terracotta pot without drainage hole? Plant is located outside on a porch in part sun/park shade. I usually like to really give it a good bath in its current pot (stoneware w/ drainage) and it’s happy and healthy but now way out growing the current pot. I have this 9” terracotta pot without a hole and I just don’t know what to plant it in! The pot has pretty thick walls. Any thoughts?
