Heyo! Beginner plant owner here! I planted this zinnia about 2-3 days ago and he’s growing! But I noticed he still has his seed covering his leaves. Do I need to remove it, or will it fall off on its own? Any advice is great, thank you! 💚

hiii, so my algerian ivy is doing amazing, my only problem is it’s getting really long and kinda leggy. i was wondering if there’s anything i need to do to maybe fix that? or what i can do with the longer stems? am i supposed to prune it or propagate it or hang the vines up? because one of them has hit the floor and another is growing straight at my wall 🫣 i’m sorry if this seems muddled or if you can’t make out the pictures but i’d love some advice if anyone has any, thank you <3

hi yall!! i need help identifying my ivy!! i bought him from lowes a long time ago but the only thing i remember is that the cultivar name is francis! doesn't look quite like an english ivy & seems fussier & less of an easy keeper than english ivies are supposed to be- when i first got him he kept losing all of his leaves and almost dying on me 😑 was not fun there for a stretch but he has mostly settled down now! i am also not sure what's up with the dead patches (?) on the edges of some leaves? hope the pictures help!

Does anyone know what this is? I can’t remember for the life of me and the scanner is giving heart leaf Philodendron (which I have one of and they look nothing alike) and white bird of paradise (which also doesn’t seem right).

My cat palm is really struggling as of late. I had it on the floor and thought maybe it was taking too much abuse from the dogs tail. So I put on a stand. Is it not humid enough? Sunburn? I don’t wanna lose this guy. It has two nice big leaves unraveling (slowly).

I am having trouble with my plant that I am growing from water! There seems to be fungus growing on the roots and I don’t know what to do! I tried running it off a few days ago but it just keeps coming back! Pls help!!!

I recently got Frank, my first ever Fiddle Leaf Fig. He’s looking happy with new growth but I’ve never been so nervous about caring for a plant 🤞🏼

I hope I can recuse this thaumatophyllum (I like philodendron selloum better 😍😂). Got it from Lowe’s for half off with being overwatered & too much sunlight. • right pic was from yesterday and the left one is from today🤭

I’ve never needed more plant help than I do right now! Still a beginner but getting braver and adding more and more (too many) to my little plant family everyday. I took a leap and ordered from Etsy sellers and had two amazing experiences and figured wth, it’s safe! So I ordered from a tik tok shop a “mystery box”. I was proud to support a small business, the seller was also a mom of a young child etc. Fast forward to what I received which was ofc nothing like advertised, and the seller won’t answer messages. Please help me identify what I can only decipher is a medley of a bunch of plants? I’m sorry but I hate it. If you guys can help me decipher what all the different plants are, should I separate them? I think I correctly ID’d a golden pothos and a pothos njoy. Beyond that….🤷🏽♀️. I’ll be glad to send more pictures for anyone sparing me their precious time helping me break this silliness down:

Ok.. just when I thought I had the room arranged perfectly, I took a photo and can see the lighting in the room. Could you help me arrange my plants? lol not sure if the whole photo will be visible.. I have some grow lights but I was trying to give everyone ample natural light if possible.

So this sweet little alocasia was nothing but soil all winter. I watered it lightly and kept it in a warm place. I put it outside when the weather became warm enough and this is what it did. Yay! I just brought it in the house because nights are getting chilly. So what do I do with it now? I’ve never had one survive before.
