Hi there! Iāve been really struggling with my parlor palm and just had to make some clippings again. Not really sure how to care for this plant, any recommendations?? Thereās always growing leaves and crispy ones and has been stunted in growth. I havenāt thought to check out its roots.
Literally obsessed with my small patio!š š„°
My roommate and I work at a hardware store and she pointed me in the direction of these ladies in need of rescue. Iāve never had either of them before, so any advice is appreciated. The money treeās root system is looking a little rough, but hereās to hoping it perks up. The alocasia has a yellowed tip on one leaf, but when I went through her root ball, I found thirteen corms. Iām going to try to sprout them. Wish me luck!
My Alocasia Zebrina, named Zina, is alive and thriving! I got a new pot sheās chilling in while indoors from this morningās storm. I bought her before knowing her soil can never dry out! I left town for a funeral and she let me know with dry tips and spots. We are better, now. Her pot with no drain holes is from Lost in The Forrest online. Itās titledāKabasa Potā and comes in mint, white, and three sizes
I feel my Mican has come a long way, it is another clearance plant I bought. I think I paid 2 dollars for it. Here is a early photo and one from today

This is an š!! Iāve been struggling with my money tree for almost a year now. Long story short, when we got her she was about four inches, over the course of seven years she grew to about 5-6 feet⦠and then Iām sorry to say she got root rot. I trimmed and washed the roots, pruned her back by about two feet, removed all the dying foliage, and repotted her in a pot with better soil and proper drainage. Three months under the grow light (Jan-March) and she starts getting new shoots. When she looked strong enough, I moved her back to the spot where she always used to flourish. She keeps getting new sprouts now, but they wilt and die before they can mature. I did a consult with a plant doctor, and they said she wasnāt getting enough light. So a month ago, I started acclimatizing her to the additional light of a grow light. At first she seemed to love it. Then one of the stems started to wither. The plant doctor said it was some kind of rot and I needed to remove it, which I did immediately. But now sheās just sad. None of the new shoots make it past a day or two. Her stems are about 3.5 feet tall, she has no side branches, and just a few teensy wilting leaves at the top. But Iām not ready to give up on her. Would it make sense to prune her all the way down to a foot, give her a smaller pot, and let her build her strength from her root system instead of hoping that these leaves will make it? Or canāt you prune money trees all the way back? Any advice would be so appreciated. She was our first plant, and it was pure luck that she thrived for such a long time because all I did was give her some water once every two weeks and the occasional bit of liquid fertilizer. Please help me save Money Penny! šš¼

This is my first moon valley. Is this a flower or something else.
This coleus has died and come back to life more times than I can count in the 8 years Iāve had it. My grandmas been bringing it back to life this last time and Iāve regained possession of her. Any tips and tricks with these? I seem to have a difficult time with them for some reason. Also, if anyone knows what variety of coleus this is, thatās be awesome. I donāt think itās a āFifth avenueā
