Hi I just have a quick question. I’m new to caring for plants and I have 9 plants that I have to water and take care of. The planta app has the watering times all over the place, which I do expect for two of the plants as they are more like houseplants rather than succulents/cacti. I just wanted to know if there is a good way to sync the days of watering? Like some of them have about the same watering frequency, but need to be watered on different days. I want to have like a certain day every two weeks so that I will be able to remember and be consistent with caring for my plants. Would it be ok for me to either water some early or water some late?
Does anyone have a fishtail or a monarch fern? If you do, does it look anything like this plant? I am still trying to identify this, and that’s the only thing that comes up. It didn’t seem like a fern though. I bought it off a grocery store clearance for $.99, and so far it’s a mystery plant. It seems to be doing OK but I noticed the leaves are getting a little bit crunchy and I have it very close to my humidifier. So maybe it is a fern? 🤷♀️
Wondering if anyone can help- I’m looking to buy orchid bark in bulk (residing in Wales, UK), but can’t find any over 10litres for £10. I’ve tried going to almost all the garden centres near me, is the 10litre bag as big as it’s gonna get? is there any online stores that sell bulk for a good price? Thank you 🫶
Please help, my mint plant is not doing well 😢 So, her leaves have begun turning slightly red, and they started dropping slightly and becoming less supple. I read it may be due to an excess of minerals from hard water and that flushing your plant every 4th water is beneficial. Since then her soil is very wet and I watered her 3 days ago, the regular salt buildup is still occurring outside the terra-cotta pot (except now I suspect it may be mould) Some leaves are also developing small black spots. It is becoming colder outside so that may be the issue? Please help me save her she’s very important to me 😢
How do i look after this through the winter to ensure the best display next year. It’s an amaryllis 🪴
Some cool photos I recently took! My chili plant gives off these beautiful white flowers. I love them so much
Hi! Just wanted to see if anyone can help me in knowing what these little bumps are on the stems of this plant. She gets regular sunlight and water every week to week and a half. Thank you for the help! :)
Just got three new beauties! So excited because i also got a grow light for all of my plant babies!
I can’t for the life of me get this guy not crispy. 😭 I mist constantly and water on time. It’s my only calathea that I can’t get right haha. I ordered a humidifier this week and we’ll see if that helps and makes a difference. Its not even in direct sunlight or anything. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. 😭😭
The planta app seems to have me add liquid fertilizer too often, should I water the plants that the app says need fertilizer anyway and not add the fertilizer?
Originally wanted to repot these aglaonemas in soil but the roots are so damn pretty I think they are just going to live in fertilized water 😍
My pink princess sporting her newest leaf today 🥰✨🥹
any way to get this man to stop leaning? i just repotted and tried my very best to get him straight up.
I’ve noticed several of you complaining about pesky gnats! Wanted to share these with you, because they obviously work for both house flies and gnats.. bought off Amazon.
Another coir pole creation‼️ My obsession with Philodendron Brasil is real. So I chose one of my babies and put her hair up LOL
My previously immovable and very large monstera almost died from 5 days of freezing temperatures last winter. It started to recover in April after three months of me watering the dead stumps while I cheered on the root ball! It made steady progress throughout the year. I’ve had this plant for many years. We’ve been through several hurricanes, hail, tropical storms that flooded the town and even several days of snow in my zone 9 region! I’m very happy to see it thriving again. 😍🪴💕
hi all, planta is telling me that i only need to water my prayer plant every couple weeks, but my leaves were curling so i watered it this morning. how can i revive this??? and how often should i really be watering?
New leaf is not very happy and I am not sure what to do…. Any suggestions?
Y’all this is my favorite plant I’ve ever purchased. Balfour Aralia. Isn’t she a beaut?!
