I am hoping someone can help me! I have had this corn plant for about 5 years and I am wondering if I can separate the plant and move the smaller one into another pot. I heard that you cannot separate the mother plant. Any advice would be so helpful!

A YouTuber mentioned POTHOS releasing growth hormone into their water during propagation and said putting clippings into other propagations would be helpful. The only thing I’ve found to substantiate it is this link of people asking about it. Anyone know if this claim has any merit? Reddit post is named Do_pothos_cuttings_help_speed_up_the_root_growth/

Does anyone know anything about growing plants inside a vivarium? I think I’m having an issue with the artificial sunlight.

App Feedback Many times when I go to one of my plants, click the “i” icon next to the name, for more info about this plant, the app closes, taking me back to my cellphone homepage :( This bug should be fixed.

Did I repot my anthurium magnificum too soon? New to anthurium! If this were another type of plant, I would have left it in its pot longer, but I saw the thick root escaping out the drainage hole and I’m still figuring out how to care for seed-grown baby anthurium and want it to grow up quickly

This is my happy place! Recently rearranged the shelves to be perpendicular to the wall and now it feels like my very own little plant library, haha

Any idea what plant this is? Planta pulled up Flaming Katy or Mother of Thousands. Another app said Mother of Thousands. I’m not convinced it’s a succulent, though. It’s very very small at the moment and I picked it up some my library’s plant exchange.

Wondering if this is a good place for my indirect sunlight tropicals or if I should move them? They’re pretty close to the window but I only have the blinds opened a tiny bit. ~don’t mind the potting situation, will be repotting soon.

I got these 2 black velvet alocasias in the mail on Friday, (March 24th) the heat pack in the box wasn’t hot and they were a little cold. I repotted in 50/50 perlite and peat moss with a well draining pot, and gave them some water and they have been in a south facing window (pictures below). They have some brown spots, one is worse than the other. I have a led lamp for when it’s gloomy out like today. Is this normal for plants that have been shipped in the cold or are they sunburnt?
