Omg new favorite online plant shop! Itâs hard to beat a good local shop and picking out your own plant, but sometimes they just donât have what you want. PlantyTown had a nice selection, great newsletter promotions, and man I never knew packing could be so good!! They came all the way from Texas to New Hampshire in 2 days from placing the order đ± The plants were $13.37 each after promo. Crazy good price imo. I got two free cuttings. The P. hastatum didnât make it unfortunately, but I canât really complain since I didnât even know I was getting it in the first place. I love these plants so much already đ„° I havenât seen a paraiso verde this size ever. Theyâre usually starter plants that are too small to bet on or really big and expensive. So exciting! Sorry to sound like an ad lol but I see some of yâall out there every now and then asking about good websites

Had a problem today with my seemingly healthy zz plant and BOOM!!! Root rot, no smell and mite! So this is just a reminder to check your plant EVEN if they look healty (i had to tottally repot and root clean 4 out of my 7 plant)

what is this new growth on my white knight? very bottom of the plant, an old leaf completely snapped there months ago and itâs just calloused over, until now itâs putting that out. is it a new leaf or stem? the top of the main stem still has growth points of course, coming out of previous leaves so iâm not sure what itâs doingâŠ

Hello everyone! Iâm a long-time aspiring green thumb, haha, and have a beautiful but simple variety of houseplants. Iâve recently purchased some grow lights and am curious in regards to any tips.
How do I figure out height/distance from plants⊠if I put it higher up can it benefit more planta? Are son more receptive to grow lights than others? Does location of plant not matter so much once grow lights are introduced? Is it just a matter of trial and error, or should I be doing research/Googling⊠I have a bunch on my tv room and another bunch in my bedroom⊠(pics attached)
Any tips or pointers - either in terms of resources to learn or from your own experience?

Hi everybody!
I really need help with my asparagus fern. Iâm kind of new to keeping plants and all my other plants have been doing great, but this one has really been struggling.
Iâve had her for about a month and she just does not drink up the water at all. I read that they like to be watered frequently, but the water is almost always super wet and I feel like Iâve been skipping normal watering days because it is still wet.
On top of that, and Iâm sure in relation to it, the frawns are yellowing and I thought it may have been from trying to adjust, but nothing has changed in the last month.
I live in the dry heat of Arizona and get scared to put my plant in direct sunlight and I feel like doing that has made it worse on the days Iâve tried it. She also is still in her nursery pot inside the decorative one, and not root bound.
If someone could give me some advice, I would greatly appreciate it! My asparagus fern is my favorite plant and I donât want it to die!!
