If you have a lot of plants you should consider investing in a fish tank because it’s great for propagation and you can water your plants with the water from your fish tank after a water change.
i’ve been trying to bottom water my plants more because I’ve heard it’s really good for them but I’m not sure how much water or how long to leave them in for. Any tips or tricks are very much appreciated!!
I turned an IKEA Milsbo cabinet into a Hoya greenhouse. 🪴💚🥰 Since putting this together, I have added plants to it and house about 34 inside, most are Hoyas. Two baby syngoniums, a baby Monstera Thai Constellation also reside there. A String of Hearts and a String of Turtles adorn either side on top. Two T8 LED grow lights, 2 fans, and weather stripping. Hygrometers show average humidity ranges between 67-98%, while average temp ranges between 63-68. My Hoyas have taken off with massive growth since being inside of it.
Can someone help me figure out what plant this is? I’ve got no clue what it is and how to take care of it 🙁
Just showing the before picture of my shelf, the tank will be filled with cacti and succulents, hopefully. There may be a last minute change, and I decide against the succulents. The long plant on the top shelf is a baby Aloe Vera, and the ball-shaped on on the right is an Echeveria Fabiola. Tell me if you have any tips, and get this post to 20 likes to see the after!
How do you all measure your plants to input i to your catalog? Longest stem? Width across? Repotted this beauty today. Now pray for her! 🤣
hi, it’s me again lol my friend is now asking what kind of plant she has here. she’s been taking very good care of it but she just wants to double check on what it actually is so if someone could identify this one! please and thank you!
One of my monsteras new leaves! Does anyone have any tips on having it climb up a moss pole? Thanks I’m advance!
Hey everyone, I’ve decided I want to crowdsource some opinions. I’ve mounted all these Umbra Floralink planters in order to create a green wall, but I’m having a mental hang up on exactly what plants to put in them. Unfortunately succulents wouldn’t work unless get a grow light. I’m in the middle of propagating a bunch of spider plants as you can see, but eventually those will leave. Pilea and peperomia (except graveolens) plants seem to do well there, as does Ceropegia woodii. What other small plants that do well with medium light and low humidity would you all recommend I use to populate my wall?
Any tips or tricks about transferring these babies to soil? I think some need more time but some others seem ready to go. It’s my first propagation attempt and I’m a nervous plant mama! 😬
I grow most of my orchids in the typical plastic pots that have been heavily ventilated. Planta’s plastic pot setting doesn’t really address this type of pot as the media tends to dry out a little faster than it would in a typical plastic pot. Long story short (too late) does anyone have a work around?
What’s this plant? I’m still new to owning plants. I thought this was beautiful with its hot pink magenta stem and edges on its leaves. I’ve been searching for what it is, and all I see similar is the Algaonema. Is that what this is???
Has anyone had their money tree bloom? I would really love to get mine to bloom but a hear it’s tricky indoors. Thank in advance for any tips!
Ahh this is so exciting to watch
Such a diva…Grey Star plant 🌱❤️
I broke my plant buying ban when I saw this beauty for only $20 in a local florist. What a steal!! 😍
heyyyy, so my friend recently found this plant in her mom’s office and she’s decided she wants to take care of it but isn’t sure what kind of plant it is. we both knew it was a pothos; we’re just not sure what kind 🫣 anyone know what kind of pothos he is? and maybe how to revive him as well? 😂 thxxxx 🫶
My coworker has had this plant since 2016. It’s never been repotted as far as I know and used to be a lot bigger with a separate off shoot that died. Should I just repot it and hope for the best? Haven’t looked at the roots yet, kinda worried they might be trashed (there is no drainage hole in this pot). Also, there is some white stuff on top of the soil, what is this? Thanks!
