My Hosta has been drooping like this for about a week or so. Any suggestions to perk her back up?
When we bought our house I was so excited to have mature fruit trees at the back of our property. A green apple, red apple, and a pear. They were pretty wild and hadn't been cared for is many years. We had our arborist out to prune the trees last Fall. Unfortunately, as we had suspected, the green apple tree was long gone. Although it had a few branches with green branches, the trunk was nearly hollow (and filled with acorns from the squirrels🤣). We had the tree removed but I asked them to leave the stump so the squirrels still had their home. We have lots of birds-chickadees And finches. I found this funny-faced guy online and had to have him. The pieces are separate so you can create your own expression, and the mouth holds bird seed. I can see him from my kitchen window and when I do, he always makes me smile. I'm sad I lost the tree, but this is pretty awesome too!
Trying to propagate a bunch of Coleus, Wandering Jew, and succulents. Got a Rattle Snake plant in the center, Sweet Basil in the corner and a few random plants in a dish and in 2in pots lol.
I’m about to make my first closed terrarium any tips?
Look at this succulent bowl I made! It’s my first one ever, I think I did nicely!
Does anyone know what this is? It was growing on my balcony floor, literally rooting in the ground. Her will to live kind of makes me want to give her a pot lol *** edit to update that she got a pot, let’s see how it goes
Can plants rot from being over fertilized? I’m trying to figure out what happened with two of my Alocasias that rotted and died today 😔💔 I repotted them recently, waited 1-2 weeks after purchasing them as to not shock them. I made sure I used an appropriate pot size and a chunky mix. I watered when they were almost dry but did not over water. I did use a small amount of Osmocote and I also fertilized with the maintenance dose of Dyna Gro Foliage Pro with each watering. I have no idea what happened 😭 I am so sad. My Cuprea (picture for attention) was one of the victims and she was one of my wishlist plants. I only had her for less than a month 💔
Hey y’all I have this beautiful ivy plant and many people have told me that it is a hard one to take care of. Any tips or advice to keep this baby alive?
Just picked this beaut up from Lowe’s! Y’all the photos do not do this plant justice!
Drama Plant just needed a drink
How does everyone organize plant care supplies? I have extra decorative pots, various tools, and soil amendments and I can never keep them organized.
This week I re-learned TWICE a valuable lesson learned the hard way! 1) NEVER put neem oil or pest spray of any kind (even the DIY soap one) on your air-plants. They absorb everything through there leaves as it they were roots. They will die. 2) NEVER put Neem oil on your succulents. Powdery mildew or not. My giant Echeveria is now on deaths door. (Photo on right) Found this funny post online to confirm my lesson: 🤣
I told myself I was going to take a break from buying plants for one month. One week in and I'm doing pretty well. I went to the garden shop and I didn't buy any plants...only these cactus from the clearance shelf. I'm really proud of myself! 🤣😉
could anyone help me identify this little guy? was in a mixed pile but so cute!!
Rescues for my birthday!
Found this little guy in my royal palm. Planta says it’s a air potato plant. Should I try to grow it?
My “window plants”, 2 jars of pothos propagations, a basil plant, and my baby Pilea. 🌿🌱
Sharing this beautiful orchid. It finally bloomed after two years and one bad move. I hope it brightens your day :)
Hi guys! Could anyone tell me what this plant is? Thanks :) can’t tell if it’s Thai constellation or Albo
