My Hostas are looking very withered. Should they be cut back or should I leave them alone? I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

I got this plant a little while ago and was wondering what kind of hoya it is? When I purchased it online, it was listed as a variegated hoya Chelsea but I feel like the Chelsea leaves are a bit rounder.

Can I bring my fiddle leaf fig back to life? All it’s leaves turned brown and fell off but can I chop the stem or propagate it somehow?

I'm interested in getting a flamingo flower anthurium but not sure if I really have the right environment for it. Has anyone gotten away with growing this plant with no added humidity indoors (I don't have a humidifier)? And what type of light are you giving your plant? TIA!

October 25, 2023 and Climate Change is R E A L! When do I bring in doors amaryllis? They are still enjoying their huge amount of daily sunlight and warmth from Philadelphia.

Hello everyone. My spider plant has just been watered today…hence he’s a bit droopy! He’s normally in much better form! Just wondering, if I cut off the small bits that are coming out of him, what’s the best way to replant them? Do I hang them into a cup of water to start with to bring on the roots before planting? Grateful for any advice. Thanks so much.

Hi everyone! I only have 4 plants on plants right now but I want to eventually get more. I have an important orchid I really like right now but it’s not doing well. Should I get planta premium? a coworker just gave me this christmas cactus cutting and i have no clue what to do with it 😅 i have perlite, orchid bark and tropical soil at home to repot this but i would love any and all advice you have 🫶🏻 🪴

Rub-a-dub-dub. Three Ngern Lai Ma in a tub! 🛁😄 The bath is a preventative measure for my lance leaf syngoniums before repotting. They had mild scale and mealybugs when they were delivered. That quickly cleared up. I just brought two plants inside and at least 2 fungus gnats came with them and found my syngoniums. This bubble bath cleans the debris and all hitchhikers. There are more roots than soil, so, it wasn’t messy.

Hi everyone! Meet Lenny, my Ficus Aubrey (Benghalensis) I want to make sure I keep him alive and happy. I know he needs indirect sunlight. As you can see, I have no nearby windows, so I have been putting him outside in a shaded area for a few hours a week. Does anyone know if this is sufficient? If it is not, would a grow lightbulb work above him? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

My plant is turning yellow. I stopped watering her for a bit and her dirt was super dry. So I gave her water this would be her third stem dying. Any advice, I’ve had her for three years.

i just got my monstera adonsonii delivered today and she’s looking a little rough😭 I don’t blame her since it took like 5 days for her to get here but I’m just a little worried since this is the worst any plant has ever gotten delivered to me! Her soil was super dry so I had her soaking for a good while, hoping the sun tomorrow will lift her right up💚

Has anyone had experience with purslane?! A friend who has a nursery gave me a few cuts of this like 2 weeks ago and HOLY SHEET it has taken off…. It’s literally tripled in size (see the plant linked, look at the progress photos…) do they normally grow this fast? She told me they never do well inside and I was testing my luck here.
