Just got back from my vacation, and the Bromeliad that I brought from a farmer market made it through! I also brought some Chinese Fan Palm seeds (3) back with me. My Bromeliad is producing seeds as well and they are peeking out from the flower. Any tips or opinions?
It’s borderline embarrassing how excited I get to see new fronds! 🤷🏾♂️ Say hi to “NINA” my White Bird of Paradise ❤️🌱
Can anyone tell me what this plant is? I’ve had it for over 10 years and it’s one of the easiest plants I’ve ever had. Doesn’t need much watering and always looks healthy and happy. I lost the tag shortly after buying it and have no idea what it is. All google and plant identifying searches give many varying different results!
So I got a clipping of this lovely plant and it wasn’t a clean cut (ripped off plant) and after a few days looked slimy at the bottom of node… so I chopped off the damaged bottom of node and started fresh (added some plant food to water this time) will she make it?? Why are the leaves doing this? 🥲🥲
Recently gifted this snake plant from a neighbor who was moving. It needs help. I think the leaves are curled and brown on edges from under watering. Any recommendations to assist in bringing this back to life? I repotted it today as the original pot was cracked and plant leaning over to one side. I added very minimal fresh soil.
I recently bought this fresh mint plant a few weeks ago. I finally moved it to a slightly larger pot today and added some fresh soil. Some leaves were slightly shriveled and a couple brown. I picked those off. Any tips for indoor sweet mint plant? Seems it needs to be as close as possible if not directly in a window.
I was gifted this gorgeous plant! It needed a lot of cleaning up and pruning but it’s doing good now! I apologize for the blurriness of the photo. I’ve been wondering what it could be though. I thought it looked maybe similar to a Graptopetalum Mendozae? Or could it be a ghost plant? Any thoughts?
How it started… how it’s going… I was working at a local hospital for 2 weeks and walked by a snow queen and marble queen pothos in the hallway every day… I just couldn’t resist! Haha
When I got my fiddle fig last year, I loved it and cleaned its leaves till they shined! Not forcefully though, and not recently. My fiddle fig has been dropping its leaves, and I don’t know why!
Just got this Monstera at Walmart and there were a couple leaves damaged. Should I cut them and if so where? Otherwise a very healthy plant.
My app is telling me for my Begonia Frosty to fertilize it every week in June! I have it set to liquid fertilizer so it sort of makes sense to me and it resets the 9 day water timer too.. but does anyone think this is too much fertilizer for it? I have it an area a bit too dark and not right by the window?
I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong with this Black Velvet Alocasia! The leaf is losing color?? Any ideas? Soil is damp but not wet.
What happened to my Bunny Ear Cactus? It’s been fine for years… and then one day I woke up to it looking Iike this!? 😫
The app isn’t showing me an exact match for this plant my husband grabbed from Walgreens. I’m excited bc it has a pup already! What do I have here?
New plant! Can anyone tell me what this is?
It’s a shame they actually put these on plants make sure to always check for this if your new the infamous “death trap”🤦🏽♂️
While I was watering my moon cactus I noticed that it’s stem (yes I know it’s a grafted plant and can’t survive on its own) is really mushy and brown, the bulb has also lost some of its color, I’ve never encountered this with any of my other plants so I’m wondering if this is normal for this kind of plant or if something else is happening? Please help☹️
This is the toughest plant I’ve ever had. Was given to me 10 years ago when our clinic opened and I have neglected it thoroughly!!! But despite how much the leaves dropped, it always bounced back after a nice drink. I’ve finally committed to taking better care of it. It’s been watered regularly, I repotted it, and it’s looking so much happier and healthier! It’s a beautiful plant!
One day you are young and fun, then the next you have “plant dusting gloves” and are eagerly anticipating the variegation on the newest leaf from your white wizard philodendron. 🪴😀
