What do we think plant friends - will this new leaf come in flat like a whale fin? I’ve never had a whale fin snake plant! It’s so cute and little now!

HELP! I think my fiddle leaf fig has finally given up. She’s never been a particularly healthy or pretty plant for me but she just looks down right sad recently. I’m really hoping I can save her but in all honesty I’m a little worried. I’m thinking it’s the cold air from the vent that’s making her leaves die (in the past that’s made her do that as you can see by her bare bottom) but I’m really worried this time, I really don’t know where else I can put her. Anyone with happy thriving fiddle leaf figs please give me some advice to help my poor girl! For reference I water her pretty much when Planta says, I try to let her dry out but I could definitely be better about it. I keep a dish of water near her to keep humidity up next to her as much as I can. I also added a picture of the whole window so you can see what light generally looks like during the day and other plant placement options. All of the windows in my house have vents under them so I really don’t have anywhere I can give her better light and avoid the vents.

I’m about to move houses, and my plants are going to have to sit in my car for about 24 hours. Any tips on making it less stressful for them? I have a wide variety from tropical to succulent

On another note, need some care and ID help! Is this a Jade plant or Elephant Bush? Sadly it is dropping leaves like crazy! The leaves look withered too. Here’s a photo. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙂‍↕️

Happy Friday! Let's play another round of the alphabet game! Rules: Follow the alphabet in order. If the person before you posted something for ‘A,’ you post something for ‘B,’ and so on! It can be a plant color, a specific plant name, or even a fun action shot as long as it starts with the next letter! Example: A is for Abutilon, B is for Blue, C is for cactus, D is for Daffodil etc. I'll start! 😁

We’ve finally graduated to soil. After months of tears and heavy care, Cassandra is ready for the pot again. With MUCH less watering than I used to do.

This is my Vanilla plant. As you can see it is almost reaching the floor. What is the best way to propagate this plant? It is doing so well I don’t want to hurt it. Thanks for helping!!

Wanted some decorative pots but didn't want to pay the high price. So I bought 2 cheap plastic pots from the dollar tree and one on sale at target. Took some napkins and tissue paper that I had already. Used some mod podge then sprayed with some polyurethane. ... ta dah!! Cheap plastic pots have been made glamorous.... lol Mushroom tissue paper i got for free from a mushroom farm in Georgia Orange napkins were leftover from a Cinco de mayo party Floral napkins were from a mother's day tea. Hope they hold up. What have you used to upscale flower pots with?

I have a question. When it comes to grow light bulbs does it have to have the term "grow light" or can I be ok with LED light bulbs? I've read online that the term grow light is used to charge more for standard bulbs.

Mealybug ugliness - my poor 10ft potted olive tree. Spraying the leaves isn’t an option (neighbouring properties with pets wouldn’t be too pleased) so I’m crossing my fingers & toes that a good prune & a soil drench with Bug Clear Ultra Vine Weevil Killer will do the trick. Has anyone else had a similar experience with a positive result?

🌱🚨PLANT RESCUE HELP🚨🌱 This is my second attempt at rescuing a variegated Alocasia… any advice and/or thoughts and prayers greatly appreciated Bought it when it was in wayyyyy too big of a pot and had some major root rot 🥲 Hoping this one will survive with help Have attached a stick to it for stability and I let it stay in the original pot for 24hrs before downsizing to my smallest pot with a mix of regular potting soil with added perlite and peat moss Keeping it in the bathroom near a north east facing window
